Who we are

Social Ready Ltd ("we", "us") is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16760967. Our registered office is 96b Queen's Rd, Watford, England, WD17 2NX. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. ICO registration number: ZC015024.

We do not place or support occupiers. Councils and housing providers do that. We connect landlords with those organisations and manage the lease arrangements.

What we collect

• Enquiry and application forms: your name, email, phone number, property or organisation details, notes, the page you submitted from, and the time you gave consent.
• Copies of enquiries: when you send a form, a copy of what you submitted is emailed to our team inbox so we can reply.
• Agreements: if you go ahead, the details needed to set up and run the agreement, such as ownership proof, ID documents, compliance certificates and bank details for rent payments.
• Spam and abuse protection: a one-way hash of your IP address, kept briefly to limit repeated submissions. We do not store your raw IP address with your enquiry.
• Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects information about how you use the site. See our cookie policy.

How we use it, and our lawful bases

• Contract: to respond to your enquiry at your request, match properties with providers, and set up and manage an agreement.
• Legal obligation: to meet our duties, for example tax, anti-money-laundering, redress scheme and record-keeping rules.
• Legitimate interests: to run and protect our business and website, including preventing spam and fraud.
• Consent: for analytics cookies and any marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Where your data is stored

Form submissions are stored in a cloud database provided by Supabase, on servers in the United States (Amazon Web Services, Ohio). This means your personal data is transferred outside the UK. We protect that transfer with appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or, where applicable, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, together with Supabase's data processing agreement. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards. Some other service providers, such as Google Analytics (used only with your consent), may also process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Access is restricted. The website can add new enquiries but cannot read them back; only authorised staff can view them.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed, with:

• the tenant, council or housing provider connected to the property;
• local authorities and regulators;
• HMRC;
• insurers;
• contractors working on the property;
• our bank and payment providers;
• the Property Redress Scheme;
• UKALA (client money protection);
• professional advisers, such as solicitors and accountants;
• IT and hosting providers who process data for us;
• the police or courts, where the law requires it.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't lead to an agreement: 12 months.
• Agreements and financial records: 6 years after the agreement ends.
• ID documents: until the agreement ends, unless the law requires longer.
• Marketing: until you withdraw consent.
• Analytics data: up to 26 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, move it to another provider, and withdraw consent. Email hello@social-ready.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
